WiFi problems

WiFi (short for Wireless fidelity) allows nearby devices in your home to connect using radio waves. It is a convenient way to connect your laptop, mobile phone, or tablet to the printer, TV, or the internet without running cables all over your house.

WiFi allows us to listen to music on smart speakers, our home assistance devices, security cameras, and so much more. WiFi makes our lives so much more convenient that we often forget about it, and to our detriment, we may forget to ensure that connection to it is secure, which helps us keep the baddies out.

But what happens when things get in the way of radio waves or signals? Too many devices in your home can also cause problems with the internet speed, and the signal speed can become weak or slow. We have things in our homes called walls and glass; believe it or not, they can slow down, deflect, or block signals.

So what do we do about it? How do we protect access to our WiFi? How do I get the signal from one end of the house to the other, upstairs, or in the garage or the garden?

I can help you better understand the problems with your WiFi and how we can address them so you can get the most out of all your devices at home and keep you connected.
